All of our professional hunters are very experienced hunters and are dedicated to ethical hunting, safety of clients, harvesting the right trophies, and creating the most enjoyable safari experience possible for our clients.

Mark Swanepoel

Mark Swanepoel grew up in Zambia on the family farm, where he resided until 1993. He then went to South Africa, where he completed his high school education. He attained a Diploma in Travel & Tourism and then completed a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management by 2002.

Mark was born into a hunting heritage, His Father Peter Swanepoel being an Outfitter and Professional Hunter for over 40 years and having won ‘Outstanding Professional Hunter of the year’ in 1999 at Safari Club International, as well as ‘International Hunter of the year’ at Houston Safari club in 2001.

Mark attained his PH license in South Africa in 2004 and his Full PH license in Zambia in 2007 and hunted full time with his Fathers company until 2009, Then forming Swanepoel Safari Outfitters and continuing to hunt and guide clients in 9 countries in Africa, with 123 African species to date.

 

Swanepoel Safaris is currently a Top 250 Outfitter at Safari Club International. With over $250,000 in Donation to SCI.

Our team of owners and professional hunters are all devoted family men, community leaders, passionate conservationists, and charitable donors to the things we care significantly about.  Outside of taking care of our clients' desires, Epic Safaris' primary purpose is to benefit the wildlife and local communities in the areas we hunt. 

About Our Access to Prime Hunting Areas

Epic Safaris has become an agent to market hunting packages for its concession partners and will be intimately involved in oversight of the entire client experience.​​
