Our camps are designed to reflect the landscapes in which they sit—remote, wild, and deeply connected to the surrounding environment.
Set along the Luangwa and Kafue river systems, each camp offers a classic safari experience: open, unfenced, and immersed in the rhythm of the bush. Wildlife moves freely through these areas, and time in camp is often as memorable as time spent in the field.
Mornings begin with first light along the riverbanks. Evenings settle around the fire as the sounds of the bush take over. Throughout the day, guests move between the field and camp, returning to a space that is both comfortable and grounded in its setting.
Accommodation is in spacious safari tents with en suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and hot showers. Camps are styled in a traditional, understated manner—canvas, wood, and locally sourced materials—offering a balance of authenticity and comfort.

Each camp includes:
-
2 luxury tents and 2 classic safari tents, 4 guest tents in total
-
En suite bathrooms and comfy bedding
-
Outdoor dining and lounge areas overlooking the surrounding landscape “Foot in sand” fire pits for evening gatherings
-
Rustic, classic safari furnishings
-
Fully staffed kitchens and bar facilities
-
Daily laundry service
-
Solar and generator-powered electricity
-
Starlink connectivity for communication and emergency use
These camps are not only designed as isolated luxurious authentic bushcamps but also as part of a working landscape—places to rest, reset, and experience the environment fully while maintaining a high level of comfort.
Wakatuli Camp
CHIFUNDA GMA — UPPER LUANGWA VALLEY
Wakatuli sits on the bank of the Luangwa River in one of the most remote stretches of the upper valley — a seasonal tented camp where the bush comes to you before the day begins. Elephant cross the river at first light while coffee is still in hand. The nights are loud with hippo, and the fire burns long after dinner. Tents are spacious and comfortable with en-suite facilities, but the reason you are here is outside the canvas, not in it. There is nowhere quite like this at the end of a hard day in the field.

Leopard Camp sits directly on the Kafue River, where giant crocodile cruise the shores and the wildlife rich river corridor brings lion and leopard through camp on a regular basis. Tents are comfortable and well-appointed with en-suite facilities, positioned to catch both the morning light off the water and the last of the evening sky. The Kafue has a particular quality at dusk that is difficult to describe and easy to remember. It is the right place to end a day in the field.
